Inspiration

When photographing dancers, I thoroughly immerse myself in the music and imaging myself as the dancer moving my body and connecting with my partner in a story of emotion and passion.  These thoughts, emotions, and associated physical actions are what I aim to capture in my photography.

Ryan has been photographing ballroom dancers and dance competitions, including studio showcases for more than five years.  As well as shooting photographs, Ryan provides on-site digital image viewing stations and image ordering for clients via a fully customized system of networked computers and iPads.
